GETTING INVOLVED EARLY

A native of Gorham, Greg moved to Standish in 2002. He started getting involved in community service in his teens. Throughout high school, he spent plenty of time volunteering with Gorham Fire Dept. Standish Fire Dept. and became the first 18 year old EMT with Standish Rescue. Greg also served as a police officer in Kennebunkport for five years. He attended Southern Maine Community College and received a degree in Law Enforcement as well as Fire Science.

BUILDING A BETTER FUTURE

His decision to run for office and seek a seat on the Standish Town Council comes from wanting to make a difference in how people's voices are heard. His love for the community is what drives him and his background is what makes him a good choice for town council. However, Greg looks at serving the public as his civic duty.

One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. – Plato
